Cooking for Dad

Father’s Day Special
Ribeye Steaks
$10/lb.

Our ribeye steaks make the perfect Father’s Day gift, but they are great anytime the grill’s going. Tender, juicy and flavorful, this is a no-miss steak. Delicious with just a little salt and pepper, but works well with your favorite rub, sauce or topping, too. (Try topping a grilled ribeye with herbed butter or a rich Gorgonzola cheese.) Our steaks are thick-cut so you can cook them to a perfect medium rare (beef this good should not be over-cooked!). One steak will feed two people generously… but leftovers are a bonus.

Why are our steaks better? We start with really good beef – through genetics, feed and management – and then we have our butcher dry age all our beef for at least three weeks. This old-fashioned and time-honored step makes every cut of Deer Creek Beef more tender and gives it an incredibly rich flavor. Our ribeye steaks will convince you. Try some while they’re on special. Spoil yourself… or dad.

Find our steaks on special this weekend at the BelAir Farmers' Market,  where we'll be hosting a tasting, or the Mill of BelAir.

::Why Our Beef Tastes So Good::

  • We start with our delicious, farm-raised beef, then make it even better!
    • Young, tender, corn-fed Angus beef.
    • Aged at least 21 days to enhance flavor and tenderness
    • Vacu-packed and frozen to safely preserve the quality.

::Wholesome & Safe::

  • No unknowns with our beef. We are involved in every phase of producing healthy cattle and exceptional beef.
    • Both farms meet strict standards for the humane treatment of animals. Caring for animals is an important part of our lives.
    • Our cowherds thrive on grass and hay in carefully managed pastures; cattle are "finished" on locally grown corn.
    • No added growth hormones, no feed antibiotics
    • No animal proteins or by-products in the feed.
    • Small groups of cattle are processed with care in small, Federally Inspected plants.

::Good For Your Community::

  • Your support of local agriculture is good for you, your community, your environment and small family farms.
    • Our families have been raising cattle for three generations or more on these Harford County farms.
    • Both farms are recognized leaders in conservation, farmland preservation, and environmental stewardship.
    • We're your neighbors and partners in the local community.
